Broken Door Jamb?  Here’s what to do next

A forced entry or a tenant who was too rough on a door when they leave is unsettling, and often results in a broken door jamb.  To re-secure the house, there is a need to repair that damage.  The good news?  This repair can often be made without replacing the whole door.

A few different solutions could work great:

Solutions to a Broken Door Jamb

Depending on the damage, we can

  • Replace the split section of the door frame with a new piece of door frame

  • Install upgraded security plates and longer screws to added strength

  • Check and adjust the door alignment for proper closure and latch

After repairing the damage, we can caulk and paint to leave the door good as new!  And, for added security - we can install a security door too.
